Day 1
Arrival in Leh | Welcome to the mystical land of Ladakh
- Upon arrival, our wildyak representative will transfer you from the airport to your hotel in Leh.
- Once you check-in, the first day is highly recommended for acclimatization.
- Take an evening stroll around the main market, enjoy traditional cuisines and explore Ladakh's rich culture around antique shops, that showcases some exquisite collections of tibetan art.
Day 2
Leh to Sham Valley
- After breakfast we proceed towards sham valley.
- Pay homage to the martyrs of the Indo-Pak War at the Hall of Fame.
- Next visit the Spituk Gompa which houses ancient masks, weapons and Thangkas (Buddhist Paintings).
- Pay a visit at Gurudwara Pathar Sahib and indulge in its history.
- Marvel at the Magnetic Hill and experience the magnetic field around this hill.
- Head to the Indus Sangam Viewpoint to watch the confluence of Zanskar and Indus Rivers.
- Stop by the famous SECMOL, the inspiration behind the famous 3 idiot movie and get to know one of India's top innovators, the leading mind behind this organization, tranforming education with a fusion of traditional wisdom and modern technology, you wouldn't want to miss this one.
Day 3
Leh to Khardung-la | Drive to the World’s Highest Motorable Road
- The driver will pick you up in the morning from the hotel and we proceed towards Khardung-La Pass. Enjoy the scenic view of the landscape on your way and get a glimpse of life at an altitude of 17,582ft.
- You can stop here for refreshments and indulge in some hot beverage to beat the chill.
- After this we head back to Leh, enjoy an evening stroll around the market. Afterwards the representative will drop you at your hotel.
Day 4
Leh to Pangong Lake
- The driver will pick you from the hotel for a Pangong lake excursion.
- On the way you'll come across nomadic settlements, called the Changpa nomads, it's rare to come across nomads in modern times, make sure you get a glimpse of their way of life.
- The Pangong lake known for its mersmerizing beauty, with hues of turquoise melting into an emerald green, take a few moments to appreciate this wonder of nature.
- We then proceed towards Druk Padma School where the scene from 3-Idiots was shot.
- Pause at the Chang-la Pass and visit the Changla Baba Temple.
- Later, you can stop at Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace.
- Post sightseeing, you will be dropped back at your hotel in Leh.
Day 5
Departure | Return Home with Memories
- The driver will pick you up from the hotel and drop you at the airport.
