It's inhabitants are mainly Baltis~ an ethnic group of Tibetan descent who mostly live in Pakistan's Skardu village. Experience their unique and rich culture and don't forget to visit their famous apricot orchards.

  DAY 1 - ARRIVAL

 

• Our wild yak representative will receive you at Leh airport and drop you at your hotel. Guests are requested to rest   during the first half of the day in order to get acclimatized and not engage in any sort of strenous activities. 
• Later in the evening you can visit the Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa, both these ancient sturctures provide a panoramic view of the entire town. Do not forget to take an evening stroll around the local market and explore the handicrafts of Tibetan art and Kasmiri art.End your day with a local cuisine and head back to the hotel.

 

   DAY 2 - LEH TO SHAM VALLEY

 

• After your breakfast, you'll proceed towards sham valley, a 165km drive from Leh. The valley is known for its rich apricot and apple orchards.

• Visit the Zanskar-Indus confluence at Nimmu, this spot is also a river rafting point for adventure enthusiasts.
• Take an ATV bike ride at the magnetic hill and experience the unusual magnetic pull of this mountain, it's also a great spot to take some landscape pictures.
• Just a few meters ahead lies the Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, don't forget to stop here for a while and enjoy some refreshments.
• On your way back to the town , visit  the HALL OF FAME to pay tribute to the martyrs of the Indo - Pak war.
• After a day filled with activities we head back to the hotel.

 

   DAY 3 - LEH TO NUBRA VALLEY via KHARDUNGLA PASS (18000ft)


• After breakfast we commence our journey to Nubra valley ~ a mersmerising valley located in the northeast side of ladakh.
• Khardung la has become one of the most sought after tourist spots , as it is the highest motorable road in the world.
• A camel ride at the majestic sand dunes of Hunder is a tale come alive from the Arabian nights. These Bactrian camels were used for transporting goods on the historic Silk route.
• We conclude the day at our camps laid under the vast blanket of empty space glimmering with infinite stars, as the crackles of the bonfire warms your soul.

 

    DAY 4 - NUBRA VALLEY TO TURTUK VILLAGE ~ The last village of India.


• After breakfast we head towards Turtuk ~ a small hamlet that sits at the far end of the Nubra valley, it was once a part of Pakistan until 1971 and now lays along the LAC. • The landscape and the culture here is dramatically different from the rest of Ladakh. One will experience lower altitude and greener pastures for a change.
• We return to the hotel and conclude the day with a hearty local cuisine.

 

   DAY 5 - NUBRA VALLEY TO PANGONG LAKE


• After an early morning breakfast we continue our journey towards the world famous salt lake Pangong. The torquise green lake melts into a pristine blue and extends into the chinese border. Don't forget to take some enviable pictures here.
• We conclude our day at the campsite under the vast sky.

 

   DAY 6 - PANGONG LAKE TO LEH


• After breakfast we proceed back towards Leh via Chang la pass at an altitude of 17590ft.
• On our way we'll stop at the famous RANCHO SCHOOL,the Druk Padma Karpo school, featured in the bollywood movie "3 idiots".
• At Thiksay we visit the Thiksay monastery which is a smaller replica of the Potala palace in Tibet and thus called the mini Potala. A 12 storey statue of the Maitreya Buddha stands here, spend a few peaceful moments here, perhaps a short meditative session.
• We head back to the hotel, you can go for some last minute shopping at the market and take back some souvenirs for your loved ones and call it a day.

 

   DAY 7 - DEPARTURE


• Our representative will drop you off at the Leh airport after your early morning breakfast.
• Fly back home with lots of memories, lest we forget.
